My husband and I recently picked up a 1960s Silvertone record player from a vintage store and while the radio worked the record player was not in its true form. Thatβs when I called Peter who was kind, attentive, and willing to make multiple stops over to our home to get it fixed correctly and promptly! If you ever have a unique piece or even a family heirloom I would definitely recommend you call Peter to restore your piece to its original quality! Repair is a dying art but Peter is still an artist of this craft!

Had an issue with my 70's Magnavox record player cutting in and out. Brought it here and he fixed the problem right up. Extremely fair pricing and quality work. Very knowledgeable and good communication. Don't go anywhere else for your vintage audio needs!

After 30 years in storage we finally broke out our Pioneer SX- 1050 Stereo Receiver. Needless to say, 30 years did not do it justice. Reciever had the static, squelch and crackley sounds. Right channel was weak/gone. Tuning was off. It was terrible and sounded bad. I took it to Dayton Vintage Audio where I met our technician, Peter. He was down to earth, professional and very easy going. He took the reciever in for servicing/repairs and gave me a six week estimate for return. Two weeks later I was surprised when I recieved the call that my Pioneer was ready for pickup. Not only was it ahead of schedule, but came in well below budget. The reciever now functions and sounds as it did when my wife and I purchased it in 1977. All functions work to perfection and it sounds awesome! It's been three months now and our Pioneer SX-1050 has been in continued service. Our reciever once again has that warm, comfortable, and reliable sound that Pioneer was known for. I would highly recommend Dayton Vintage Audio. Thank you Peter for bringing our reciever back to life!

I brought in my late grandfather's turntable that wouldn't play. Pete was able to get her in perfect condition! You can really tell how passionate he is about things like this. I find that much more meaningful than taking your electronics to any regular shop; especially when bringing in something so sentimental. Pete's super helpful and easy to work with; I highly recommend :)

Dayton Vintage Audio is absolutely, hands down, the go to for vintage audio repair! I recently had my Marantz 2220 serviced by DVA and let me tell you, it is a completely different experience. The sound quality is top notch! Peterβs knowledge and expertise is second to non. Very friendly and professional service. Will definitely use Dayton Vintage Audio for my future audio needs.
